The David Hirschberg Company was established in 1913, when steel and scrap metals were transported by horse-drawn buggy. Founded by brothers David & Lester Hirschberg, the 97 year old company has remained a family business.

The company originally operated as a retailer and recycler of iron, scrap, paper products, and rubber. To accommodate the changing needs of the industry, The David Hirschberg Company has become a leading steel service center. We offer a large variety of structural steel materials, fabrication services, and hard-to-find materials such as alloys and odd sizes. Our recycling facility provides industrial containers serviced by our trucks. Customers are welcome to bring recyclables to our location. We also purchase and sell surplus inventories and machinery.

The David Hirschberg Company operates its own fleet of trucks, available for pick up or delivery of materials. We specialize in same day – next day service. No order is too big or too small, and you’re always welcome to stop by to purchase materials or cash-in your recyclables.
